dc.description.abstract | Swirling flow simulation problem is used to develop algorithms for structural optimization of swirlers designed for installation of a gravel filter in horizontal or controlled directional wells. The practical need for study of hydrodynamic processes for circular channels encourages the use of numerical calculations for a set of basic models with a different simplification degree.
